If Social Media Were Drugs (Infographic)

    We’ve all been there: check your email, write one more status update, add a few more tweets, watch a video on YouTube, etc. James Altucher does a wonderful job of explaining how to deal with that vicious loop that in the end is costing us hundreds of hours every year. Precious hours that could be otherwise spent in a more productive manner.

    During one of the conversations on efficiency and time management with my excellent team at Dendrite Park, somebody compared social networks to drugs and we played with that idea for a short while (that ended up lasting 3 hours.) We decided to make an infographic out of it and share it with our friends and readers.

    We reached out to a number of therapists and did a decent number of street interviews to get a better understanding of the issue. Did we get it right? What would you change? I’d love to hear from you – let me know what you think in the comments below.
