If you can prove you have authority, people will more likely follow what you have to say. You can do this by linking to a piece of high-value content.
Another way to gain acceptance is by demonstrating that other people of worth have worked with you to share your content. However, don’t be too obnoxious about this. Play it as a positive, not a must-do.
If you can convince your audience that working with you is a rare and precious gift, they will be more likely to do it. However, it’s a tactic used often and can just make you look arrogant. Be wary of this, but also remember that if it’s true, then working with you is a valuable commodity for others.
Getting along with people is important in the world of business. Highlight your similarities, downplay your differences and don’t be overly formal in your approach. No one wants to work with a company; they want to work with a person.
