BC-Silicon Valley Superstars Descend on Edmonton for AccelerateAB Te


Palo Alto. San Francisco. New York. Edmonton.

The world of venture capital, tech startups and 20-something whiz kids

is alive and booming in Alberta. On May 30th and 31st, the leading

thinkers, investors and entrepreneurs in the global tech industry are

descending on Edmonton for the AccelerateAB Conference.

Co-produced by the C100 and the A100, entrepreneurial community groups

based in San Francisco and Alberta respectively, AccelerateAB will

bring together over 460 technology entrepreneurs, investors and

mentors for the largest startup tech event to ever take place in


The event is broken down into two days, the first is the Startup

University Day running from 830am - 530pm on Wednesday, May 30th at

the brand new Startup Edmonton Space (4th Floor 10363 - 104st). This

will see 180 early stage entrepreneurs and keen students from 6 major

Alberta schools learn the ins and outs of tech. The AccelerateAB

Conference day on Thursday, May 31st runs from 12:30pm - 5:30pm and

will see 460 tech entrepreneurs from across Alberta descend into the

largest tech gathering in Alberta. The Thursday event takes places in

Hall D at the Shaw Conference Centre.
