If I have a business name for my writing business, how do I handle bylines for articles?

Usually, the author's name appears in the byline.

Then, at the end of the article (or wherever additional information is provided about the author), it would read something like: "Melissa Jones is owner of Write Words, a communications company based in Eugene, Oregon."

I'm a magazine editor, and that's how we handle it . . . and the writers are happy with that arrangement.

Hope that helps.
