How to get rid of 'ads not by this site'?

its really annoying

To get rid of all ads, stop using Internet Explorer. Switch to Firefox and install their Ad Block option.

I feel ya, try this. I did and love it, plus its free. Just copy and paste the text below to your Hosts file. Man, you'd be amazed at the amount of Banner Ads it repels. Give it a shot. I compiled these over a while, and I update them frequently, so I'll keep ya guys posted.

I have Internet Explorer and had the same problem. Go to tools - select pop up blocker - select turn on pop up blocker - then go to setting - remove pop-ups that are allowed unless you know they are good and then select the high setting. You then need to go to tools and select Deleting history and delete temporary internet files and delete Cookies. You need to load Malwarebytes and run it, if none of the above works. and I would do it even if the other stuff works, so you find any Trojans you might have. This worked for me, hope it does the same for you.
