How can a company’s website reflect its market segments and target market?

Just wondering what people thought about this question, I sure can't find the answer.

At many websites, you have to look for 2 or 3 minutes before you understand exactly what they are offering. The only way a website can reflect its market segments and targets is to spell them out clearly. Every business knows its target market ( teenagers with money, drivers who drive fast, fashion). It is less likely that a website mention its market segments since it does not want to limit itself to one sector of buyers.
