    Question

How to get FTP to work with a Yahoo! Small Business website, when registering under a Rocketmail.com YID?
I've tried and followed Yahoos! guide ( http://help.yahoo.com//l/us/yahoo/smallbusiness/webhosting/gftp/ftps-04.html#c ), with no success so far, submitted a handful of tickets, and got no reply.. *sigh* I'm thinking this is failing because I used a Rocketmail for YID, and now the username for the FTP is something different then stated on the guide above.

Hey Dave, there are two FTP username options that can be used with your Yahoo! Web Hosting plan. Assuming that your FTP host address is accurate, the first option would include your Yahoo! ID @yourdomain.com. Since you have an @rocketmail.com Yahoo! ID then the FTP username will look like this: youremail@rocketmail.com@yourdomain.com For this option you would use your regular login password. For the second option, you can create a custom FTP username. The process for creating a new username is listed at this Yahoo! Help page: "Can I let someone else upload files to my account?" http://help.yahoo.com//l/us/yahoo/smallbusiness/webhosting/gftp/gftp-20.html After you have added a new user and enabled FTP access, then the resulting FTP username will look like this: newusername@yourdomain.com The password you gave that user will be your new FTP password. If this doesn't work or does not make sense then please get a hold of us by going to: http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/contactus Good luck!
