Job Analysis is a systematic exploration of the activities within a job. It provides with information about the jobs currently being done, and the knowledge and skills and abilities that individuals need to perform the jobs adequately.

HR managers perform job analysis' to try and gauge and update what each employee does and try to find out an effective strategy to move the company closer to meeting its vision and goals.
