Go to: listings.local.yahoo.com/
Info on free Local Basic Listings is on the bottom right.
Hope this helps.
I highly recommend this site - www.seo2020.com/ - which has lots of very reliable information about how to get your site listed and how to get it to come out on top in search engine searches. It's a really informative site. Take the time to study and digest the information, then go to work. Yes, it takes work to get it done right. Good luck!by Steve D - 8 years ago
Email to all your friends. And ask them to do the same.
Contact: My Link - mysite.verizon.net/vze4nspa/mylink/...
May be they can help.
Here are some ideas:
Put a listing up on craigslist.org (search engines will index your site within 2 or 3 days).
Join myspace and create a business profile. Network with other business owners and local businesses on myspace.
Join other networking websites like Ryze, Linkedin, and Ecademy.
Submit your site to Google and Yahoo local.
Join forums that are geared toward restaurant owners. You are normally allowed to ad a link to your website in a signature that will show up underneath any posts you make.
Put up listings on free classified ad sites.
See if your local newspaper has a website and if you can advertise there (probably not for free though).
