Alicia Ann Lynch Needs Reputation Management

By Zac Johnson | Small Business

Alicia Ann Lynch is a name that you probably aren’t familiar with, but it’s one you might have seen a few times in the news lately. The average person who reads about Alicia Ann Lynch will probably conclude that she’s stupid for what she did this past Halloween. Some of you will probably even tell some co-workers and friends. For Alicia Ann Lynch, the sad truth is that her one simple mistake as a 22-year-old will probably haunt her for the rest of her life.

If there was anyone in the world right now that could use personal reputation management and clean up of their presence on the Internet, it would definitely be Alicia Ann Lynch.

Who is Alicia Ann Lynch?

Enough with all of the suspense. Now it’s time to lay out the facts and explain who Alicia Ann Lynch is and why she is being highlighted in this post.

Halloween is always an exciting time of year. It’s the day you get to dress up as anything you want and pretend you aren’t yourself for a day. Unfortunately, some people like to push the envelope a bit too far. While there is no law against being stupid… in this new age, which is completely social and spreads any type of news and controversy around the world in just a matter of minutes, you really need to think before you act.

What was worse… going to work in this costume or posting the pictures right to her social media accounts? They were both a disaster, but adding the pictures herself just added fuel to the fire.

As mentioned earlier, it takes just one simple picture and tweet for something to spread like wild fire on the Internet, and this is exactly what has happened. Alicia went from being just an average person with a regular job to being one of the most talked about, hated and attacked people on the Internet.

At the same time, it’s quite unfortunate, because Alicia isn’t the only one that used Halloween to make a mockery of a tragic event. Over in England, two other misguided girls thought it would be a great idea to dress as the Twin Towers while they were being attacked by terrorists. The costumes even had planes crashing into them and people falling out of the building.

To make the situation even worse, they won $240 in shopping vouchers that night from the Rosie’s Nightclub in Chester for having the best costume.

While in one country a horrible costume idea receives praise, in others, wearers receive death threats and various attacks online. Luckily for the two girls in the Twin Tower costumes, their names haven’t been associated or attacked anywhere near as much as Alicia has been.

Alicia Ann Lynch, 22, regrets her “distasteful” outfit but said she and especially her parents don’t deserve the threats of death, mutilation and rape. “I’ve had voicemails where they want to slit my throat and they want to hang me and tear off my face,” Lynch said. “I’m just like, ‘I don’t even know how to respond to this right now.’” – Reported by ABCNews

And for those of you who were wondering… of course Alicia has also been fired from her job and her Twitter account is now suspended as well.

Unfortunately for Alicia Ann Lynch… this was only the beginning.
