Thank You NotesAs marketers, starting with these two words, “THANK YOU” can really set the tone in many ways. Let’s take a brief look at these powerful words.
Thank You in the Workplace
Everyday, we should be thanking the people who make a difference. This should be everyone, if it is not, then obviously there are some issues that need to be worked out. Say thank you with a note and talk about point out a specific activity that really helped you, someone else or the company. Everyone likes a little affirmation from time to time.
Thank a member of your company’s management team. It helps you stay connected and show that you appreciate your job and serving clients.
Thank your clients
Reach out and talk to your clients. Send them a note, unrelated to some recent transaction and just ask how they are doing.
If a client recently completed a large purchase of products or services from you, take the time to show your appreciation.
If a client walks in the door, make sure they are personally acknowledged by the first people who come in contact with them.
Sending a thank you card is one of the best ways to show your appreciation. Emails are ok, but taking time to write some words down, really is the best way in my opinion.
Thank people online (social media)
Send thanks to clients, friends and advocates. It’s always nice to throw in a little thank you from time to time to others. This area might grow more as we learn how to more effectively use these platforms.
Thank your family
Take time to acknowledge your family members and tell them everyday how much you love them and that you go to work each day to insure they get their necessities and can eventually reach their dreams.
Take time for personal reflection and thanks
Give thanks to God and thank Him for the blessings you have received. By taking time to reflect for yourself, you will be a much better person and you will show that you have a servant attitude toward people.
Saying thank you takes some work, but in the end, you will earn the respect of others and this action will help you build and keep your relationships with others.
Don’t underestimate the power of this very simple act!
