First 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport Delivered

The 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport is a truly enticing upgrade from the already-brilliant base model: packing a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V-6 engine rated at 420 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, the CTS Vsport is somewhere between a normal Cadillac and one of its ultra-potent V-series models--as its name implies.

And now the first CTS Vsport has reached a customer.

The lucky new owners are Tim and Pat Whited of Nederland, Colorado. The Whiteds bought the car at a Barrett-Jackson auction in August, where the proceeds of their $120,000 winning bid went to support the SAE Foundation.

In addition to their new 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport, the Whiteds also received a performance driving school package with their winning bid.

While the money spent to get their hands on the new CTS Vsport before anyone else goes to benefit science, techology, engineering, and math (STEM) education programs, it's not the kids who will get better educations we're jealous of--it's the Whited with their new 420-horsepower CTS.
