Ready? Ok. I bet this week’s paycheck that you all included the winter holiday season on your list. I’m talking about Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, Solstice- it doesn’t matter exactly which one you celebrate in December- the last month of the year and the month leading up to are key to a retailers’ YOY success. You may have also listed Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Thanksgiving weekend on your list- that is also a very crucial shopping weekend. Depending on your industry, there may be other holidays on your list, for example, I imagine if you sell candy Halloween, Mother’s Day, and Valentine’s Day are going to round out your Top 5.
