The BBC has released what they are claiming as the first global study of multi-screen news consumption. Second-screening statistics was interesting, as the vast majority (83%) of tablet users say they have watched television while using their tablet. It was not surprising to see the 24-hour news interaction cycle for each screen (device) type with computer news consumption spiking in the morning (probably during work breaks) and television spiking in the evening when users are at home.
