    It sounds like these are web hosting plans. Yahoo currently offers domain forwarding only on Domains, Custom Mailbox, and Business Mail plans.

    I am faceing some difficultys. I have read many Help-desk articles.... I am freezed.
    Ok. Thats the case: I own privat Yahoo account and also another Yahoo account for my business. Both of them are customers at Yahhoo Small Business and owns web pages (1 domain for each account).
    Now I would like to bring my .com website from private account under my business Yahoo account called "domain transferring". I found some instructions, but they did´nt worked out. (I prepeard my domain for transfer and its ready)
    To build a website I have used SiteBuilder solution under both accounts.

    Sorry, if I wrote too much but I have wasted much time to resolve my problem.... could´nt do it myself :(

  • My domain is missing from Yahoo Small Business?

    Hi,
    I registered a domain name few hours ago. Now, both the domain name and my small business account are vanished! While searching for available domain name, I found mine available in the wild! Yahoo small business won't let me contact support because my small business account doesn't exist any longer (which is gone with the domain name as well). My queries are-

    1. I have been owning and managing domain names for over a decade, and this is the first time I am experiencing this kind of situation. How is this possible?
    2. My domain name was locked by default, so was not supposed to be freely available again without my authorization. Who will take responsibility if my domain name is taken by someone else? Who shall I complain to against this irresponsible occurrence?
    3. I had to search for about an hour to get this email address of Yahoo small business (domains-support@cc.yahoo-inc.com) from somewhere barely related to yahoo. And I hope that this address is right. How come they don't have any way to reach to their support?

    What am I supposed to do now? any idea?
    Just to clarify, I have already paid for this domain. I had received the confirmation email from yahoo with all the details about the domain. I had seen the domain in Yahoo small business control panel, I could even configure the details of the domain. Now that I need Yahoo's immediate technical support, I cannot find a easy way to contact them.
    SOLUTION!
    Finally I received call from yahoo. As they explained to me, due to the international nature of my payment account, the payment was rejected by their finance department. However they couldn't explain why they released my beloved domain name in the wild without notifying me by even a single email. They asked me to complain to the administrator. Since I need to buy something to have an active account in Yahoo small business to get in touch with the right person to complain to, I thing I will pass!

    I went back to godaddy to register the same domain address. Although I am an international customer with credit card from one country but living in another, after chatting with the godaddy customer support for over half an hour, we found a suitable solution for payment (with coupon).

    Small business needs support and care in every step. As good as the Yahoo free services may be, they are not good enough for the small business yet.

  • Yahoo Name Server Emergency Contact?

    Hi everyone, I do IT support for a company and their DNS records were recently switched over from another company to Yahoo's name servers by the company's website guy without my knowledge. Because of this the A records and the MX records for external access to internal resources and for routing email got deleted and he never recreated them. He is being woefully unhelpful saying that the name servers have nothing to do with our internal servers, that customer facing website is up and running so no changes need to be made, bla bla bla, in other words he pretty much doesn't understand the way DNS or email works. Anyways I'm wondering if there is some kind of 24/7 emergency contact info for Yahoo's nameservers. They've been down for 2.5 days now because of this and because the website guy is being woefully unhelpful I am having to look to other routes to find a solution. Because today is technically part of the July4th weekend Yahoo's public facing numbers on their web hosting website are all closed. Being that they tout this as a service for "small businesses" I would think there has to be some kind of emergency 24 hour support phone number for people to call in situations like this.

    I bought a domain from yahoodomains on 2007-03-06

    I had initially intended to start my own site but never got around to it. The domain was purchased using yahoo briefcase which I believe was taken out of service some time later. My domain registration was automatically charged to my credit card upon renewal, however when briefcase was closed I was assured that my registration would simply stop once the renewal date rolled around. I didn't pay much attention to my credit card bill so I presumed it had been cancelled (my own problem I know) but recently I checked the whois details for myself and found that the domain is still registered to me and is obviously being charged to me. My problem now is that I have no way of accessing this domain to either cancel the registration or add privacy to the whois details. I think I need to pay to join yahoo smallbusiness which is something I don't particularly want to do.

    I have transferred a number of domains out from Yahoo and after some difficult time getting through to them, they have agreed to refund the money paid for renewals of transferred domains. However, the money was never refunded even though they have updated the my records. My bank received no communication to the effect. No longer a customer, I cannot even get in touch with them.     A blessed day!

    I tried to register a domain in Yahoo! Small Business but when I click the "Process Order" button at the last part of the order process, I have an Error. I tried again but I have the same error. After a few minutes, my Credit Card Bank sent me an SMS notification that yahoo deducted a certain amount on my account, and then another SMS for another deduction. I also didn't get the domain.

    I forgot to write down the error message and I don't want to try it again.
    I registered two different domain before, 1 for my other account and 1 for my friend. but I didn't have this problem.
    I tired to contact Yahoo! help, by filling-up the form and according to that they will call me in few minutes, but for 2 days now, I didn't received any calls.

    What can I do now?

    I am already holding a domain name. I want to transfer it to Yahoo using Yahoo Domain Discount offer. If I transfer my domain to Yahoo Domain Service and after one year I again transfer it to some other domain registrar. Will Yahoo allow me to do that or not ???
