I copied all my sitebuilder folders to a new machine. I can edit but not publish. What should I do?
I see files such as install.jar, sitebuilder.jar, sitebuilder.pack.gz, etc. and have been using ysitebuilder.bat to fire up the sitebuilder program (since I don't have a desktop icon on the new computer). As I said, it finds my site and I can do my editing/previewing and saving but just not publish. Can I use install.jar or any of these other files to "complete" the installation on my new computer?2 years ago - 1 answers
Simply copying an application's files to a new computer generally results in unpredictable behavior, assuming it runs at all. In order to make sure Yahoo! SiteBuilder runs properly, please delete the version you copied over, then install a fresh copy from webhosting.yahoo.com/ps/sb/index.ph...
Once you have downloaded and installed Yahoo! SiteBuilder, you can get your website files by importing them from the currently published site. For more information on importing your site in Yahoo! SiteBuilder, please refer to help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/smallbusi...
