question about restaurant management?
one of my friend giot a job as a restaurant manager at a chain. the thing about this is he got the job directly abnd did not have to"work his way up".he knew the district manager and he just got the job no experience no working his way up.is this good and can this happen everywhere?is this even legal?
he told me he got help and training from the district manager on everything he needs to know on how to run the business including how to do the other positions.
They can hire whoever they want. He is probably an assistant manager, so he can learn the ropes that way.1 year ago
Totally legal. People can run their businesses however they want. I wouldn't recommend it. A manager needs to know the other positions and at least have previous managerial experience or he will bring down company moral and generally bring your business down.by Rachel - 1 year ago
