how does zillow get there database of homes?

How does internet companies like zillow, trulia, etc get their database of homes all over the USA?
Is there a list of database i can purchase? Can i go to the state or county and purchase these database? Where can i get a list of all the homes in the USA?
Where do i go to get these databases? How can i acquire this kind of information?

Everything they have is public record. You don't have the resources to get "all homes in the USA" as an individual. There is no master single database....those websites are a composition of thousands of databases.

These companies, get a lot of info from public records, but some of the main places is from phone directories or even map sources for homes. The scrape whatever data they can with a specialized software. This is a skill in itself to use and use properly to get large amounts of data. Unless you are quite skilled with setting up software, bots and proxies, you are better off just purchasing a list off one of the database providers, it will be a lot quicker and less frustrating. if you need contact lists for businesses I recommend Core list USA.
