My friend will pay me commission to find distributors to carry her family's products from overseas ......?

Her family has a canned food factory in Thailand. She wants the products to be introduced to the US market. She will pay me commissions to find distributors who are willing to carry her family's products. It sounds like an exciting task. However, I have no experiences in negotiating with distributors. How should start to do this?

Ever heard the phrase 'never do business with friends' ? This is a prime example - you haven't a clue what you are doing, she won't have to pay you anything unless you succeed. This is just cold calling; nothing remotely exciting about that.

Only do it if (a) it involves NO outlay on your behalf and (b) you have nothing better to do with your time.
