Question

retro fitness cancellation?

I have a membership with retro fitness for well over a year and sent a cancellation notice a few months ago to ABC financial (their collections company). I was still being charged 3 months after i sent them the letter and decided to cancel my debit card. Since then, I have been receiving phone calls and letters in the mail asking for missed payments and service charges. It threatens that there will be an "interruption of membership" if i dont pay them. I am not really worried, because I dont go to the gym anyway, but I am concerned that this may affect my credit. Can anyone tell me if and how this will affect my credit, and what I should do. They have no valid card on file from me at the moment, so there is no way for them to collect the fees.

You're going ot have to check the contract that you signed and see about the terms. If you signed an agreement and are still within the time-frame covered, you are responsible for the charges. But without seeing the contract, nobody here can really answer.

You're on the way ot need to confirm the arrangement that you just signed and see concerning the terms. if you actually signed an arrangement and so are even now inside the time-frame covered, you are accountable to the charges. But without the need of seeing the contract, nobody right here can genuinely answer.
