Question

Can I send a personal check in the mail to Canada from the U.S.?

I live in Indiana ( U.S.) and need to send a refund to one of my customers who resides in Canada. Is it okay to send a personal check through the mail this way?

I don't think that would work very well. Someone would have to be able to convert it. I think you can get international money orders or services like PayPal can do the conversion.

Yes you can, although it would be at your own risk if it goes missing.
You should pay insurance on the letter you send it in, and register it too, so you can check when it's received and who signed for it.
