I need a $2000 personal loan but I believe I have bad credit.?

I have 5 credit cards that I've had for years. All but one have always been well under control. The one that isn't has been seriously delinquent for several months because they wouldn't work with me on anything. I have my own apartment and cell phone bill of which are also well under control. I don't know how bad my credit is, but I can easily afford $100 to $150 a month on a $2000 loan I just want to know where I could get one if my credit score is low. Thanks.

There are plenty of places that offer loans for people with bad credit with no-hassle applications and easy requirements. Some of these lenders even offer 1 minute approvals, and have both secured and unsecured loans, depending on your need and situation. Check the page listed below, it has information and bad credit lenders listed off and on. http://tiny.wackyb.net/K2rP/AENj

    • Try www.prosper.com. It is a peer related loan service. You have a better deal at getting a better rate, while making another member a higher interest rate.

    • If you have poor credit it is likely that you will not be able to get a unsecured loan with out a co-signer who has good credit. Do you own a car outright? If so I imagine it would be fairly easy to get a loan using your car as collateral from your bank or credit union. If you don't own your car out right but have substantial equity built up you could probably be able to refinance your car as well.

    • Go to experian.com and check your credit report and score. It may not be as bad as you think. If you don't want to check first, then just go to a bank and fill out an application. They will be able to tell you quickly whether or not you qualify.

    • Best option, if you have a good friend to co-sign the loan for you. There's loans you can get, but the intrest rates or pay back times are not good options.
