How much does a package cost to send a package by UPS?
Its not always cheaper to go through the Postal Service. UPS is cheaper alot of times. One thing people overlook is that UPS's rates are affected mostly by physical size not lbs. like the Post Office. If you pack that shirt into a tiny box you might be surprised on the cost of UPS vs. Post Office.

Depends on weight and zone (distance) One pound pkg in zone 2 (less than 250 miles) about $3-4

Probably $7 to $10 It would be cheaper to send it through the US Mail parcel post You can go to the UPS website and enter in both zip codes and it will give you an exact cost (figuring about 1 lb.) http:/www.ups.com PS: NY to California will be on the upper end
