JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - Anglo American Platinum said on Monday workers at its Dishaba mine in South Africa have ended an underground sit-in, staged to protest the suspension of a union leader.

"Employees evacuated from underground last night," Mpumi Sithole, the company's spokeswoman, said.

About 2,300 workers were involved in the sit-in.
