They’d like us to start by saying they tried. They really did. They sat patiently staring at the tree you drug into the house, only to then forbid them to climb or pee on the new ornamental item sitting in the living room. They even exercised restraint beyond your comprehension level to obey your wishes that they not bat or gnaw on the sparkly ornaments hanging from it’s branches. Don’t even get them started on how hard it is to sit around the house with a bunch of presents all day and be forbidden to rip them open.
Now however, things have changed. Something within their furry little souls has snapped, rendering them unable to do it. Unable, that is, to even handle Christmas right now.
