Does paypal pay for it straight away?
If I purchased something off ebay and pay for it with my paypal account, does it pay for it straight away or do you have to do stuff with my credit card?

paypal pays for it straight away without using your credit card. With you already signing up to it they usually pay the money straight without having to ask for your credit card details.
