Question

On weekends when you are working the phones Customer?

Service...there is a skeleton crew...People EXPECT everyone to be there and we are told...to take messages or give them the choice to call back during a week day. Honest to God, I have had to hold out the telephone because they are YELLING about that. I remain calm and say..."would you like to leave a message?" Question...Are the people upset about what happened BEFORE they called...or are they up set that they have to call back or leave a message???

I think people are upset that they can't get an immediate response. That's just the way it is today. They want to be able to get answers A.S.A.P. and if they don't, they are upset at the person on the phone who they think are representing that company. If they (the company) can't have someone there to answer the phone and answer questions, then they should have an answering machine telling people to call back during business hours. Problem solved.

both. Your company has their heads up their ass if they don't have people who can actually help customers. We know no one will call back.
