Question

How to get my product into the credit card companies statements?

My question is built upon the idea of the following; I have a great inexpensive product. I was thinking of the best best way to sell this product and market it and have buyers being able to see it. The ability to buy and get paid instantly for it. I know that all credit card statements always have advertisements in them, where you can buy a watch or a wallet or a flag or whatever. You just mark what you want and send it back to them, they add the purchase to your credit card and then they send out the product to the buyer. With that you have automatically marketed, sold your product with the help of a large credit card company who make 1-3% on that product. It is good for everybody. Now the QUESTION is, who and how to I contact to get involved with this type of business in mind? Do I call the credit card company upfront? Or do they have a main number? What is the exact way of going about this? All answer will be sincerely appreciated and well awarded! Thanks in advance.

I don't know the perfect answer to this question, perhaps someone with direct experience in this area will be able to give a better answer. But I would start by calling a credit card company directly. Look up the corporate number online; don't call a customer service department. Ask for marketing, then explain what you want to do and they should be able to point you in the right direction. Some marketing/advertising company has contracted with them to provide these envelope stuffers, or whatever ... you will have to find out the name and phone number of that company. Your percentages are probably wildly optimistic ... expect that marketing company to charge you 50% or more of sales to list your product. Or they will charge you a flat rate of more money than you have, and let you keep all the revenue. Good luck.
