is this false advertising?
a well known store in Canada has advertised in their flyer that if you buy one tire you get the second half price but when asked the price they said no it is only 25% off the second one, so is this false advertising and if so where can i go to report this?

It is false advertising. They should be held to the fliers price.Report it to the Better Business Bureau

If you don't like the deal they're offering, don't buy from them. Don't need to report them. If they have dishonest business practices, eventually it will come back to hurt them.

Make sure you read the ad thoroughly. The "fine print" almost always modifies the offer in big type. Often the big offer is available only on a certain size of tire that almost no one can use .... and everything else is at a higher price. So you have to thoroughly read the ad ... every word ... then try to apply it to your purchase. If in fact they claim that every "second tire" is 50% off, call your local member of Parliment's office and ask them where you can complain.
