i really want to rent this house,any tips?

me and my older sis really want to rent this house i mean its just what we have been looking for the only problem is about 5 other people want to rent it too,were going to open house this week and we have to fill out an application so my ? is there any things to say at open house or write on the application that will make us stand out or make us sound better then the rest or if theres any landlords out there what do you like to see on the Application? thanks!

Good credit, good references, no special requests, no animals, no criminal background, all the money needed to move in and no evictions. Other than that you will have to see what the competition has to offer. Often their credit is trashed, they have evictions, can't come up with the move-in money and they have dog from the insurance prohibited list they want to move in! To top it off some of them change their minds at the last minute! If you have your act in order it is unlikely that everyone else will be as good as you. In that case you have a good chance at being chosen.

Try to be THE 1ST people to the open house and fill out application as soon as you can. Have all reference, banking information and past landlords with you. Be neat in appearance, wipe your feet before you go in and answer all question with sir or mam. You might even make sure the house you are at right now has a clean appearence outside and inside in case they make a drive by to see how you take care of the place you are now as it is an indicator of how you will take care of their house.

Well if they follow the laws. First one to place an application with the owners and they pass the credit check you then have the first right of refusal.
