Help me figure a percentage. Last October my husband made 2888.22 and this Past October he made 1026.65. What is the percentage of Loss? Thanks :(

2888.22 - 1026.65 = 1861.57 1861.57 / 2888.22 = 64.45% Basic 5th grade math!

Last year he made 2888. This year he made 1026. So he made 1862 less this year than he did last year. Your question is "1862 is what percent of 2888?" Just divide 1862 by 2888: He made about 64.5 percent less this year. Put another way, he only made about 35.5 percent of what he did last year.
