Question
Graphic Designers: If you work at a small company that requires outside design approvals...?
Are you responsible for the submission and retrieval of the approval results? And if they are taking too long, is it your responsibility to call them until they respond? Also, are you responsible for finding logos you need for designs you are asked to create? I was just curious. Thanks.

Depends on if the company utilizes a project manager. If there is a project manager that assigns the jobs to designers, then it has generally been their responsibility to control the process including submissions, revisions and approvals. If the company does not use a project manager or something equivalent then it's up to the designer. I have worked in both circumstances (workplace with a project manager and one without) and it has always been my responsibility to track down logos. I can ask a PM for assistance should I be having issues. Hope this helps! Chris
