collection company wont take payment!?
mann and bracken is a collection company i talked to them a few times and settled on a one time payment.....after the fact that i gave them a check on the phone that was suppose to clear but never showed up in my bank......so i call they say well your file is close and the ck# you gave us was never on file so then i try to do a debit over the phone they say our credit card machine not working...then i try to give her other check over the phone the agent tells me I'll call you back cause your file is close. so what can i do i need them to give a release on a judgment please help thank you!

See if you can pay it over the phone or send the payment in the mail if they are going to be difficult.

Send them a check via certified mail and require a signature.

get a good lawyer if they refuse money they can't charge you any more intrest after that day?
