selling on eBay
Sick of eBay taking advantage of us during the economy..made a new website..but need visitors! :)?
Question
How to gain trust on EBAY (Feedback is 95%) Not good?
I was selling alot on ebay I kind of turnmed into a full time thing for about a month or so! Everything was going great until a family emrgency happened, and I left town and didnt get 2 items sent and in the midst I never contacted them and actually just overwhelmed with the family situation and really was not worried about ebay, that braught my perfect feedback to 95.7%. I am ready to start selling again, I wanna use the same account. Should I just put a disclaimer in each listing stating this : Attention Buyers, please do not be alarmed of my feedback. Due to a family emrgency, some things could not be shipped? What should I do and if a disclaimer in each listing hall shall I say it or word it?

The disclaimer is your best bet. (And I do think it's preferable to wimping out and getting a new ID.) About my feedback. From xx/xx to xx/xx I had a family emergency (my dad died) and left town. Because I didn't have all items ready to ship, I screwed up 2 auctions that had ended already. Since they were left with no information, the buyers left me negative feedback (they have received a refund/the item--their choice--but the feedback must remain). I am slowly returning to eBay. This time, before I list anything, all items are boxed and ready to ship. If you have any concerns, feel free to contact me. Also, only list one item at a time until you start getting new feedback. Eg, no new feedback, one item. One good feedback, no more than 2 items. List cheap stuff first.

If you say that then people will think your not 100% focused on the buyers. Is your feedback 95% possitive or negative? If it's possitive, then you honestly have nothing to worry about. But if it's negative I suggest creating a new account and not telling anoyone about your old account. But seriously, do not put the family emergency thing.

"some things could not be shipped?" - did you eventually ship them? If yes... I would change that to "Due to a family emergency, shipping of a couple of orders was delayed beyond normal processing time. All sales are now being shipped in a timely manner"
