I agree that you should have hung up. What questions did he ask you? and knowing you weren't the person he wanted why did he want you to say yes to questions? Was he getting info about you? Hopefully you did not get yourself on the hook for something that is not yours. Call BoA and complain.

He didn't "make" you do anything. You *voluntarily* told him whatever it was that you told him. (Whatever that was -- your question is not clear. What do you mean, "he asked you to say yes to questions about a guy in Houston"?) Whenever someone calls you and you're not sure who they are, why they're calling, or what reason they have for talking to you -- you are completely within your rights simply to hang up. And what do you mean, he called with the wrong number? Do you mean he wasn't really calling from BOA? Then for heaven's sake, WHY did you talk to him???

He didn't make you do anything. If he had the wrong number then you should have just told him he had the wrong number and hung up.

He cannot "make" you. He can ask you, but even if he puts a gun, it will not work over the phone (the bullets just wreck the phone; they do not travel down the phone line and kill the person at the other end). Also, the guy is probably not an employee of Bank of America. He is probably from a collection agency calling about the a Bank of America credit card debt.
