Misplaced credit card envelope with check inside?

If I misplaced an envelope with a check written for Wells Fargo credit card and someone picks it up, can they cash the check? Also, it has my account number on the bill in the envelope. Can the person get into my account?

No, they shouldn't be able to cash the check. But it might be a good idea to stop payment on that check. You should also carefully monitor your credit card statement for any unauthorized charges. Chances are no one actually has the envelop and the info.
