I would say yes if the business is a "sure thing". I have two examples. I purchased about $5000 worht of audio equipment and lighitng on a credit card and got into the DJ business. Annual revenue is about $15,000. Do the math. This was the right decision. I also purchased $4000 worth of race timing equipment on a crediti card for timing local 5K's, and other races. Make about 8K per year doing this timing. These are two sideline businesses started witha credit card. Paid off and making money all year.

you shouldnt becaue the credit card interest is too high, and such interest paymnt will negatively affect your cash flow, especially in the early portion of your new business when the business is generally slow and require time to build up.

No. Absolutely not. Major credit card changes are coming Jan. 1, and new fees are being put on cards by the card companies to compensate for the loss of income the changes will cause. At this point wait and see what shakes down.
