Paypal Question?????
i've linked my credit card to paypal but i didnt link my bank account. so my question is do i need to link my bank account to paypal too in order to receive payments or can i receive payments directly to my credit card? sorry if it's a dumb question, but i'm new to this.

Not a dumb question. But, I just started my pay pal acct. a week ago & i just got e mailed that my acct was being hacked by a foriegn IP address. BE CAREFUL! I would link it to a very minimal acct. Not your checking acct. Good luck.

You have to link a bank account to get money out of paypal for free. They will send you a check for a fee. What I did was set up a new saving account at a different bank then I use for my other accounts. I put $25 dollars in it and I have paypal transfer money to that account. Go there a few days later and take the money beyond the $25 out and deposit it in your regular bank. This keeps you safe.

First payments are not received to a credit card, they will go into your available funds section of paypal. Once the funds are there you can only use them for online purchases unless you link your bank account, the only way to transfer the funds is with a linked bank account. Paypal also has a Mastercard Debit card that you can apply for, however there are qualifications that have to be met in order to be approved.
