Question
How much do companies pay to have a commercial on tv?
Like on a good channel, e, food or nbc...say during the middle of the day, how much does a television ad cost? (i guess like 30 seconds is average) Thanks! :D

For a :30 on a major cable network, it can cost from a few thousand dollars to over $30,000 depending on the station.

It depends on the show, time, audience, etc. and extent of the ad...obviously a national ad will cost much more than a local ad and a network show will cost more than a cable show. Unluckily, there is no one answer to this given all the factors involved.
