Question
I am thinking about starting a security guard business that focuses on church, mall and school security.?
Do you think there is a market for this, there are a lot of churches around here, and the security companies here focus on industrial and retail clients. If there is a market for this, how should I proceed with starting up?

Schools hire their own people. Those people are state employees usually in a public school. As far as churches go, they usually have volunteers who are in the Police Dept or something to do their security and retail well that is a different story, you can try that out. I once worked for a large security company and they hired a lot of ex policemen for the administrative part and getting contracts. See if you can gather some retired police and military and get your business started. Best Wishes!
