Can I get unemployment ?
I have been working at my place of employment for 5 years. We recently got a new boss. She went back on our time and attendance that wasn't being monitored before she came and gave everyone points for call offs and being late. HR Dept says she can do this. If I get fired for my time and attendance am I able to get unemployment? I am making myself sick worrying about this. I am in the process of finding another job just in case but nothing had came up as of yet.

In order to get unemployment you must be unemployed through NO fault of your own. Even though you have a new boss who has implemented a new policy of giving points for call offs and such. If you are fired because of the new point system then you were fired due to something that was 100% your fault. In other words you wont get a dime.
