SEO takes a while to familiarize. I would suggest that you first learn to do on-page SEO. You need to have good content that visitors will appreciate. The right keywords should be in the right places. Then submit your site to search engines for indexing. To help search engines do that, bookmark your site at social bookmarking sites. Then, for your off-page SEO, do a lot of article marketing. Don't stop until you're #! on page 1.
