Question
Is mail still getting "processed" on Sunday's and holidays?
I have always wondered....even though we don't get mail on Sunday's or holidays, is the mail still en route or being "processed"???? EXAMPLE: If I mail something out Saturday, is it still being processed and moved to its destination on Sunday? Or does the whole mail system shut down? Is mail always on the move no matter what day or time?

It does indeed, the post office's plant works 24/7 have three shifts, Even gets processed on holidays by the temporary employees, regular full time employees have a choice if they want to work on holidays. They get extra pay for doing this.
