How long will it take until I can get loans and credit?

I'm only 24. My credit is horrible. In my late teens, I overspent, loved the mall, and then couldn't pay for it. I ended up settling most of it. However, my credit is at 467. I am maintaining my 4 open accounts and keeping the balances low, and payments timely. How long will it take for my credit to reach the high 600s when I can get a loan and maybe buy a house? Thanks!
