I would really suggest you try www.gumtree.com and advertise it there. That would be the quickest and easiest way. You dont have to pay anything and there are alot of people using gumtree... Hope you come right.

Try going to your local flea market and get a table. You are bound to sell them at a flea market, even if you only get $0.50 a pop.

There are used book stores and record stores in most larger cities. Look one up and take in a few of your movies and see what they offer you. In my city we have Bookmans and another staore. Check it out under used books.

I think if you get rid of them you'll regret it. That's a huge investment, and it's simply stupid to think that if you get rid of them you'll cure your addiction. (I think you'll just start buying them again.) Maybe you should start thinning them out. The practice could change the way you spend your time, raise you some cash and give you a different perspective.

Carboot sales are always good for this type of thing. I think eBay and Amazon are the best option for this type of thing. So maybe you should have a little look around there sites and give it chance. local movie rental places give you cash for that stuff... like (Game Stop) or (Hastings) maybe if you havve those in your area.

Since X-Mass is coming, you could always donate them to a charity that provides gently used items for children.

Put an ad in the local papers. Why not donate some of them to the veterans homes, local old age homes, etc. Also talk to the recruiters of the armed forces because I was told that the service men and women need more movies to watch and they should know who to donate them to so the service guys would get them. You could probably take the cost of them off of your taxes as a charitable donation too!
