What happens if Land lord serves summons for eviction at vacated apartment.?
New York State Would an arrest warrant still be issued for defendant not showing up in court even though defendant is not aware of such summons.

Well if it is already vacated they won't have to go to the trouble of evicting the tenant, but the eviction can go on the tenant's credit report.
