Question
If closing on a house on Halloween Day, would you wear a costume to the table?
I know this year and next year Halloween falls on a weekend, but on years when Halloween falls on a business day, would you wear a costume if you were buying or selling a house and you had your closing appointment on Halloween?

If you're the one who is trying to sell the home, then no - I wouldn't do it because it seems unprofessional. Actually my aunt went to sign for a house on Halloween and the person selling it to her had a halloween costume on and she felt it was very inappropriate. If you're buying the home - then whatever. They want your money, and you're buying their house so wear whatever you'd like!

Sure, if it's in good taste. I love dressing up for Halloween. I don't think it would effect my getting the house. . . at least I would hope not.
