Methods of buying online:Credit/debit card and paypal.?
i want to buy an online product from a website based in USA.I happen to be in india.For Payment they are asking for a credit card or pay pal.The Problem is i have a debit card only.so can i be able to use debit card instead of credit card?Is it possible? Second question is,how can i transfer indian money to palpal account?Please help me.Thanks for the answer in advance.

Even International Debit cards are not accepted. 2) Hw can i transfer indian money to palpal account? You need to have a paypal account. Unfortunately, you cannot open a paypal account by being in India. Then how does people in India have paypal a/c? It is not actually them having a paypal account .. it is their friend / relatives residing in US who will have the a/c and these people will use it here in India. There is only one solution to your problem - find out is anybody known to you is residing in US!

actually, yes you can have paypal. paypal is worldwide, not just for the US. as long as your debit card has a visa or mastercard logo on it you can use it as a credit card. as far as transfering money- if you have a checking account, link it to your paypal account then withdraw the money through paypal

i would highly advise you not to use paypal. they are crooked and will steal your money. the only way i would take paypal would be if i sold on ebay because ebay requires paypal. paypal is not a real bank and they don't have to go by federal banking regulations. i would recommend your own merchant account or i've heard good things about propay.com

You can certainly have a Paypal account . It just take minutes to open one, however, it will also ask you to put the details of a Credit Card. It is secure and safe. Check the website for any Debit Card payment acceptance from the FAQ. Once you obtain a Paypal account , you can easily buy things online.
