Be frenchisee/dealer/distributor for a branded commodity,where terms & conditions are in writing.If material not sold will be taken back within so much of period etc.Although branded/established cos.give less margins but turn-overs are fast with less risk.Just for an Idea-(1)Footwares- Bata,Red Tape,Lee Cooper,(2)Toiletries-Hindustan Unilever,Godrej etc.,(3)Apparels-any branded Jeans-Lewise,T shirts,perfumes etc. You can pick commodity as per yr.choice,convenience,budget & availability of distributoship. These are general commodities.In addition after doing some research in the market,you can also go for distributorship of Pharma/medicines like Ranbaxy,Smith kline,Sun Pharma,Plethiko,Glaxo etc.etc.

I would suggest you to join a company initially and work for a coupl of years! this way you will atleast have a steady flow of money every month! Keep track of what's happening in the market ,also try to establish contacts that may later be of help to you,then you can go on your own! all the best

If you have many ideas ask family and friends what they think of them, or even present them to investors. I know that the thought of running your own Business is very exciting and scary, however if I were you I would wait a bit before starting a Business because of the current recession.

Better would be, as you are still a student, after finishing your MBA join any company comes for placement.If still interested to your company than better would be join your family business if they have one otherwise start idea selling firm
