That does not matter, if you use an American issue credit card in Europe, the company will change/convert the charges for you.

Between International credit cards...there is understanding for Foreign Exchange utilisation. If the card issd from US they will bill n collect in $. All the best.

Theres really no difference. If you charge euros on a dollar credit card, then they will just exchange it along with a fee. Same applies the other way around. However, they might not exchange it at the rate you'll like.
